If arriving by car, we recommend guests park in the 15 minute bays on the corner of Mount Street & St Georges Terrace to unload their bags & come into the Hotel.

There is ample parking nearby, our preferred supplier is the CPP Carpark at the Perth Convention Centre, just a short walk from the Hotel. (For more information, please visit their website https://www.cityofperthparking.com.au/convention-centre )  His Majesty’s Theatre (Murray/Hay Street) & Secure Parking at QV1. In addition to street parking on along Mount Street & Malcom Street, other suppliers include the Wilsons car park on Spring Street, The Forrest Centre car park on Mounts Bay Road, Secure Parking on Murray Street.

Direct Reservations

Only direct bookings with a standard rate (also known as a best available rate) can cancel or amend bookings up to midnight, 24 hours in advance. Advance purchase rate bookings can have the full payment amount deducted at any time prior to arrival. Whilst we do our best to fulfil all requests, cancellations may not be made based upon personal preference of room allocation unless negotiated at time of booking. (I.E Requesting to be on the same floor, requesting a certain room view, requesting a specific bathroom arrangement, etc.)

 

Third Party Reservations: 

Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking agent for information on their policies.

Please note on the cancellation policies listed above:

  • Some exclusions may apply. May exclude periods with special event restrictions or peak demand weeks. Please refer to individual property rate rules for details.
  • For individual reservations booked into a pre-existing group block, please refer to cancellation terms quoted at the time of reservation. For more information, please contact the group organizer or the hotel.
  • Please note that this policy does not apply to travel associated with a Group booking. For guests with Group reservations (e.g., for meetings, events or conferences), please review the booking rate rules and contact the group organizer/hotel for more information.
  • Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider directly for further information.

 

Reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card when you book. Bookings without a valid credit card (Booked through an online travel agent like Booking.com or Expedia) or providing a card without sufficient funds in the 24 hour period prior to arrival time may see a guests booking cancelled.  Blackout dates are subject to their own rules. For security purposes, please provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID at check-in. if paying in cash, a $300 Cash Bond (Which may be increased for long stays) is required that will be returned to you upon your departure.

Check in time is after 3:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 AM. Arriving early or need that extra hour of sleep? We’ll do our very best to accommodate you (based on availability) – just let us know in advance. If we can’t, we’ll gladly stow your luggage safely and securely, until you’re ready to depart.

For guests who may have enjoyed themselves a little too much – a late check out fee may apply.

If you check out or leave before your scheduled departure date, there is a fee of that nights stay. 

We love dogs, cats and most small mammals! All are welcome in our outdoor seating area. Owners are responsible for keeping their pet on a leash and cleaning up after any accidents

As much as we love your furry friends, they are not welcome in the hotel interior or rooms (Service Animals are exempt of course.)  People bringing their pets inside will incur additional fees for deep cleaning or damages that may occur. 

If arriving with a service animal, please bring along appropriate identification information for your service animal. 

The Terrace Hotel is a strictly non-smoking hotel. Therefore, smoking is not allowed in any public licensed area, food and beverage outlet or guest rooms. A smoking cleaning fee of $600 will be assessed in the event smoking does occur in the guest rooms, and in the event that a smoke alarm is caused the guest will be liable for the $1000 call out fee. 

We love our spaces just as much as you do – and we’re happy to help you with that. With that in mind however, we please ask that you respect other guests and the privacy of other venue goers and visitors when taking any images. This includes 

  • Privacy and respect for guests and restaurant goers must be observed at all times
  • Doors, hallways, passages and elevators may not be blocked for any reason.
  • Spaces must remain 100% intact – furniture, design elements, seating etc cannot be moved, rearranged or stood on. 
  • Respect for the working staff must be considered at all times. 

We strive our absolute best to accommodate every guest need, and try to our best to cater to requests. All guest complaints are heard and acted upon by Staff & Management under direction of our General Manager, and we take all complaints seriously, however any abuse of staff is strictly not tolerated. This includes

  • Insults, Swearing, Raising Your Voice
  • Excessive Aggression
  • Violence
  • Gender, Sexuality or Ethnicity Based Discrimination
